Day 4, #30VeganDays
Hello! It’s the #Day4 of our #30VeganDays and we are still alive! Just joking, honestly it is going quite well!
Today I had a conversation with a friend of my good friend Fran who was concerned about essential oils, especifically Omega 3 as he said there are big issues from over-harvesting krill for oil. Well, the fact is that as a vegan you avoid consuming all types of animal products and luckily there are a lot of brands offering algae based Omega 3.
If you prefer not to rely on pills, which is a pretty fair point, there are other alternatives to getting Omega 3 such as chia seeds, ground flax seeds, nuts, etc. It is always good to inform yourself and to remember that whenever there is an obstacle there is always a solution. Tomorrow we will share a new recipe with you as today we had stuffed tomatoes as well. We try to cook for two days, that way there is one less excuse to eat well 😉
